Cwm Taf University Health Board has been shortlisted for the Excellence in Health category in Action on Hearing Loss Cymru’s Excellence Wales Awards 2017.
Cwm Taf University Health Board is delighted that two local schools, have participated in an initiative to help to stop smoking on all health board sites, which include hospitals, clinics, health centres and GP practices.
People in Wales who are deaf, have hearing loss, are blind or partially sighted are being urged to tell doctors and nurses about their communication needs when they go to hospital or the GP.
A team of specially trained drivers and co-ordinators are already on stand by to respond to the risk of severe winter weather to keep hospitals in Cwm Taf operating and our staff, visitors and patients safe.
